What TV is that, and how old is it?  Is it doing that to you when you  
use DVI or HDMI?  Are there any adapter boxes in between you and the TV?

I have seen dozens of LCD and plasma TVs from many brands happily  
acting as desktops with crystal clear images over quite a few years now.
