Solaris, all the way.  Consider using the Sun provided packages for all
of those applications, and you will have everything dtrace enabled for
easier performance tuning in the future.

Plus ZFS is great.

However, you may not need samba.  You can use it on Solaris, but
depending on your needs, the in kernal CIFS server may be better and
simpler.
