At work I've been using an HP EliteBook 8530w (GW680AV with 4gigs of ram I think) for a while (6 months or so). I was skeptical when we found them, but I definitely like it better than the Thinkpad it replaced. My biggest concern was finding a laptop that had a display that does 1920x1200 and a port replicator that my boss couldn't object to.
