Before i had a smartphone with a qwerty keyboard, i despised text 
messaging.  Now that i have a smartphone, i use text messaging a fair 
amount, but my messages are similar in grammatical accuracy to my 
emails.  It's not perfect, i tend not to capitalize I when referring to 
myself (intentionally not corrected in this message to illustrate) and 
make other mistakes, but overall it's dramatically better than what I'm 
led to believe most others do.
