Unfortunately, every time I'm unable to find memory errors on my own,  
it is precisely programs where porting is far too much work.

Kind of ironic...

Maybe what we need is a feature in all production OS that a valgrind  
or a Purify could hook into to help make the analysis part of the code  
portable.
