I'm not sure... in the long run, I believe I've actually ended up  
losing most of the time.

My best guess is that I have gotten roughly 50% of my rebates back,  
and I'm being generous.

Most of the time I never see the money.

The most common reason is they claim they didn't get the information  
they needed.  That's a very convenient excuse for them to give since  
you no longer have it, and can't prove they received it.

It's the most common way for companies to rip you off on rebates.
