[geeks] Unemployment numbers

I know we've spoken about unemployment numbers before, so I think it's  
fair to bring it up again.

I've been collecting unemployment on and off since Sept. 2006, despite  
working part-time for the last year. It seems I keep qualifying for  
the latest unemployment extensions[0], and I wonder if I am still part  
of the "record unemployment numbers" I keep hearing about, and if I  
am, I think that is skewing the unemployment numbers up, since I  
normally would have fallen off of unemployment after 6 months, but  
instead I think I'm still being counted.

Anyone know where my 2 year-old unemployment claim falls?

[0] it's nice, they've sent me letters telling me I qualify for  
extended benefits each time, always quite unexpected, but very  
appreciated.
