[geeks] KVM switch recommendations

I need to get a KVM to switch among 2 primary systems. Actually more,
but I think I'm going to just focus on the two main systems and deal
with the rest later.

Basically, I need a DVI/USB KVM to switch between a Mac and a PC.

Ideally it needs to handle 1900x1200 in case I get a 24" widescreen.

I've read a lot of reviews, and people report even expensive units have
little annoying flaws.

Is that just the state of DVI/USB KVM switches, or are there some that
are pretty much "perfect".

I'm indifferent to audio switching, because I can easily handle that
with conventional audio switches and mixers.

The main thing is I want flawless audio and video, and I don't want one
of those switches which won't work unless both units are powered on when
you first start. I want to be free to power either unit on and off at
will.

Aside:

Have any of you tried any of the dual-monitor DVI KVM switches? If I get
two monitors, I would likely only share one of them, but I am curious
about how well dual-monitor KVMs work.
