When I built a few servers a month at $JOB-1 we found that we could usually 
get the best prices at newegg.com or provantage.com (and sometimes 
compuvest.com). We had a relationship with a major wholesale distributor, but 
the prices weren't usually great - the real value was the net 30 days terms.

I flirted with the idea of a retail computer parts/repair business this 
weekend (a small shop in a popular strip mall is available - maybe 800-900 sq 
feet), but based on the posts on this list, I 've put it right out of my 
mind...
