My wife was looking around today and found M/S Comnat Flight Simulator 3
in a discount bin for 99 NIS (about $23), which is cheap here.

I installed it on my middle son's computer and he immediately found a bug in it.
He wanted to do something that a normal person simply would not have
bothered to do, but it made sense to him. :-)

I found an update to 3.1 on Microsoft's site.

I also found a FREE archive of add-ons for it. WWW.netwings.org.

Not only did they have all sorts or airplaines, scenery, missions, etc,
there were two that stood out. One was a nationaliy expansion pack, which
14 nationalites of pilots, instead of only German, Brittish and U.S.
which was quite impressive at it was. The other is the Korean war.

The original sim is WII Europe, the nationality expansion pack adds
more pilots and someone adds the air part of the battle of France with
the French pilots in the expansion. The Korean war, adds South Korea,
North Korea, and parts of China and Japan. Quite an impressive effort.

I know most people are down on Microsoft on this list, but I think this
game deserves a "well done" both to Microsoft and all the people who
made add-ons for the fun of it.

Now all I have to do is convince him to teach his younger brother
to "fly". :-)
