I did some more research and found there are at least two types of disk
images from Apple programs.

The ones from disk copy 4.2, have a type of "dImg" and a creator of "dCpy".
Diskdup plus will mount them.

The ones from later programs such as 6.1.3 have a type of "rohd" and
a creator of "ddsk". They can not be read by diskdup+. You can use
diskcopy 6.1.3 on the Mac to convert them. Load the program pull
down "Image" and select "convert". Make sure to save it under a NEW name.

Note that taking an image created with DD (1.4m), copying it over to
a Mac and changing the file type produced a useless file.

Geoff.
