[geeks] Job searching and recruiters

Hello all,

I'm going to be graduating college come May, and I've been job searching.

I have a question nobody can seem to give me a straight answer on. I
actually formally updated my resume
(http://www.arnach.net/public/resume.pdf), and submitted to a variety
of places to begin the process a week ago.

Starting with this week, I've been getting a large volume of e-mails
and several phone calls from "Cindy" or "Melissa" or "Roger" or etc.
all working for places like "InfoTech" or "ITJOBS.com" or
"SuperJobs.Com" or "JobsYoudNeverWant.Com". Those aren't, obviously,
the actual names of the companies who have contacted me, but each
company claims to have some sort of position open in one of the
companies they do recruiting for, e.g. for an Oracle DBA, available
and they want to speak to me. Should I ignore these recruiters? I find
it highly suspect -- where do they get my resume? The e-mails I am
getting are not to the address listed on my resume with a few
exceptions, but they do have my correct phone number. However, I'm
showing no hits on my resume except from companies I recognize after
doing an IP lookup, so I'm rather confused. I know it dosen't hurt to
follow up, but after getting about 10 offers to be an Oracle DBA, I'm
starting to wonder..

So, any comments on that, and any criticism on my resume would be wonderful.
