Yes, shows do suck - I just came back from TCF, and I (honestly) have a very
low "gotta have it" threshold, and ALL I bought the first day was a turkey
sandwich in the student center.

On the second day, I brought my 10 year-old son and we got two $1 stretch yo-
yos.

I decided that while these shows used to be great resources for odd bits,
these days folks with odd bits sell them on ebay, and don't bother going to
the computer shows/flea markets. TCF used to be great, now not so much...

(It's not about what I was able to sell or not sell, I just didn't see anyone
actually sell much of anything this past weekend.)

Later today I'll post a list of the various G3 computers I have left (2x G3
towers, 3x iMacs) - the three G4s I had all sold quickly, nothing else
generated any real interest.

One thing I also noticed is that there seems to be a arge population that
thinks *somebody* wants their old PII computer - I say some with prices up to
$85 for a PII with very midling specs (like 300 MHz, 128 Meg RAM, 10 gig HD,
etc)... Of course, they got to take those systems home with them...
