I've heard that even Microsoft can't get the latest RC to stay running
in sales demos. I think it's going to be a gargantuan pig like NT was
and will generate lots of caretaker jobs. It will also keep people busy
upgrading hardware to handle the slovenly resource footprint it has. And
hardware manufacturers are rejoicing.

Maybe lots of modern Intel junk will flood the hobby market soon. That's
good for those of us who like Linux and Solaris/Intel.

In another 10 years Vista might be as stable as W2003 Server (which
isn't saying a lot compared to a mature Unix).
