At one point in time (ie: 2002 or so), they had a media-request form on
their web site.  I filled out the form and had CDs for free within two
months.

I believe it does take 1.6" disks, but you'll need the little metal
carrier to secure the disks in their homes.  Hopefully your system will
come with empty carriers like $ork's last C3600 did.
