The problem seems to be that making them full unrestricted users is the
ONLY way I can make OS9 give them permission to mount disk images.  I
don't know AppleScript, but unless it has some kind of sudo equivalent,
they presumably can't run an Applescript that mounts images either.  I
can tell OS9 they have permission to mount CDROMs and permission to
mount other removable media, but I guess it doesn't consider images
"removable media".


This kinda crap is part of why I've always hated Macs.
