There are XVR-500s for $175 and XVR-1000s for $300.

Wait around for a real auction, probably half that price.

XVR-1000s are very nice.

Elites are dinosaurs, you cannot use one of those as a workstation
card at high resolution, unless you  enjoy the effect of say, running
Windows XP on a 386.
