Turns out the question's become moot, because at the price UnixHQ got
these drives in at, they can't compete with buying the same drive off
eBay, let alone in lots of 20 ...  much less compete with some even
cheaper-per-megabyte batches of four 36GB drives each that I just found.
 They're actually letting the vendor they got them from take them back
under warranty because they can't use them.

Now all I have to do is find $200 or so that we can spare to buy 36GB disks.
