IMO, you'll want the G4.  I like my 900Mhz G3 a lot, but there's a lot 
of altivec-enhanced stuff that I'd like to do on this iBook that I 
simply can't.  If I had to do it all over again, I would have bought the 
12" PowerBook instead.  Depending on what you're going to use it for, I 
think a G4 iBook would probably be a much better deal - especially with 
only $100 difference between the two.
