If you use OpenBSD on a classic or similar, it works quite well.  I know
Ron Rossen has a pretty good setup - he started on an IPX< and moved to a
SS10.  I've been keeping a classic and a 4-port ethernet card around with
the intent of trying it myself for the fun of it.
