I've found the payload area, with the rear seats upright, just fine for
daily use.  For larger stuff, or large amounts of stuff, the rear seats
fold, flip forward, or come out altogether.  It holds a lot, but it's no
SUV either.  64cf of cargo space is good for a lot of stuff - then
again, I that's why I bought the truck...

The power in the first run year does leave something to be desired, but
it is respectable.  165lb-ft is nice, and it can put the power to the
pavement once you learn how to massage it right.  However, to really get
the most out of it, you need to have the 5-speed.  When I test drove an
auto it felt sluggish and non-responsive.
