Ive tried the Macallan 30 year old and enjoyed it thoroughly. Especially
since it was on the clients dime. We were at a restaraunt and he insisted
that I absolutely must have some. I havent tried the glen rothes

Kay heres my fave whiskey and/or whisky that you can actually buy

Irish malt: Bushmills 16 Year old 3 wood, or Jamesons Gold Reserve (18 years
old, special aging etc...)
Irish Blended: Wont drink it. It's Utter shite only suitable for use as
engine degreaser
Irish Grain: Even worse then blanded
Scotch Malt: Laphroaig 30 year old and the Macallan 30 year old
Scotch Blended: Famous Grouse 15 year old. Johnny wlaker blue and gold are
also nice
Scotch Grain: Just as bad as Irish grain
American: Rowans Creek reserve, makers mark 18 year old (you can only get it
in KY)

Theres two reasons why I stated "that you can actually buy" .

First, I havent tried the Laphroaig 40 year old, but they only produced 4000
bottles and they sold out within a few weeks. There's also a supposedly
amazing 40 year old Bowmore but It's #4000 a bottle, and a Macallan 50 year
old that's #1500 a bottle.

Second, I managed to get my hand on a 3 bottles of Jamesons that were aged
for almost 30 years. They were never sold to the public. I have a little
less than half a bottle left after about a year. I call it "god whiskey".
It's without a doubt the best Irish I've ever had.
