  You didn't like the VAX, or you didn't like VMS?  The VAX is widely
hailed as being one of the most elegant processor architectures ever
designed...it's kinda hard to dislike. ;)

  VMS is something that people either love or hate when they're exposed
to it...rarely in between.  (personally I think it's great)

  Indeed, many VAXen in use today run UNIX of one variant or another.
