I'm not sure a logical classroom/textbook approach really helps ... I've
got nearly 4,000 commands in my $PATH on my main box. I sure as hell
don't know what they all do ... even after 15 years of playing with
Unix.

We've all got large gaps, but they sometimes cover different areas :)
