Dump the 509b. they can be a real PITA if you do not knoe the settings they are
at. If you MUST use the 509b get the configuration disk from 3Com and
set/determine the settings the card wants to be at. Otherwise buy some cheap
PCI NICS. Used ones should be not much more thaqn $7-10 each.
