Yeah, it'd be new old wood. Done right, it could be stunning. If I
wanted to do that, though, I'd want to do it all to match, and that
means living room, dining room and kitchen/ hallway, and bathroom. It's
all the same oak. It's stained very dark in the living room, and we like
it. I'm going to try to match that for the rest.

If whatever's under the kitchen floor isn't as nice, it'll get ceramic
tile. We like the cabinets (1950's custom) and the appliances are all
new, but I'm going to rip it all out, do the floor, either oak if it's
there or ceramic if it's not, and put the cabinets and appliances back.
