Right - good luck with the network...

For that rate they'll get a Linux hacker with has "does the computers
for my Dad's work".

Before being offered a job at Bungo I was talking to recruiter about a
contract position in in New Haven, CT.  The position had no benefits,
was 1099, and an indeterminate length.  I lowballed (cause I was hungry)
and told the guy my hourly contract rate was $150 - to which he insisted
that I was out my tree.  I made it a point that if you want quality
people, you don't ever skimp on the salary - as that's the only way to
attract *real* talant instead of someone that just has a pretty resume. 
He came back and asked if I would take $35 an hour - I think I told him
to go fuck himself...
