I have this model and the extra top shelves. Bought it around '98. It's
very good and holding up well. I was able to adjust the other shelf
heights so I could stuff onto the low shelf a 19" monitor with power
strip stand, a laser printer, a mid-tower case, speakers and palm pilot
cradle. Makes for a cramped shelf, but it holds everything and isn't
showing any bowing.

One thing about it is that setting it up seems to require a third
hand to steady and align the main desk while putting the bolts
through the frame into the brackets. I still had the assembly diagram
(I had taped it to the back of one leg) which would lead one to
believe that this is easy. I didn't have any help last year when I
moved and I ended up crouching with it balanced on my back while I
fiddled with the bolts. Not fun.
