It normally doesn't matter so much to me that I will say anything, but I
will say that I agree with you. Most folks like a light-hearted flame-fest
every now and then; I don't think anyone likes it when there is genuine
vitriol behind it, especially from one of the list owners, no matter what
the situation might be. It tends to make one tread carefully, and in an open
community like this one that can be the kiss of death. Since I would imagine
for a list like this that the list owners benefit just as much as any other
subscriber (possibly more so), it would be in their best interests to appear
fair and impartial, as well as kind and rational in their dealings with list
members.
