Maybe then that will be suitable for her.  She just wants to preserve 
the deteriorating tapes for now and worry about resequencing and editing 
sometime in the far future.  (at that point I'd recommend a SuperDisk 
iMac or a Quicksilver... she's a creative director/graphics arts person 
anyway so it'd be a justifiable business machine)
