*DISCLAIMER*
The below is a recount of a true story - do not try this at home!  The
activities were highly illegal - and just a little stupid.  They were *not*
performed by a professional driver (just a very experienced one) or on a
closed course (6am, on El Camino Real in Menlo Park, CA).

'95 GL w/ wide body trim.  It's had its share of scrapes wit other cars -
some on purpose, some quite by accident (not my fault).  I rear-ended a
Jetta with my Taurus once - she was playing the "you're angry because I cut
you off, so I'm going to go as slow as I possibly can" game.  When she hit
10MPH, and I was sure her car wasn't broken (bcause she would weave when I
tried to pass her), I hit her.  Not hard at first, just a light tap in her
bumper to let her know I was angry (those who watch stock car racing know
what I'm talking about).  When she didn't let up I hit her at about 7MPH,
then nailed the gas - pushed her right the eff outta my way.  Built up
enough momentum to send her into a empty parking lot (sideways) with a light
twist of the wheel.  The whole incident covered less than 50yds.

I had a few scratches on the front bumper (easily buffed out) - I didn't
stop to look at her car...

The '95 was the last of the  "fat body" Tauruses.  I don't care for the
96-99 (and 2000?) models - except for the '98 SHO, which looks much
different with all the body trim and V8 emblems on it.  I'd like to grab one
of those, but have a feeling my '95 will end up getting a SHO engine, and a
mild supercharger.  The 2001 models are in improvement on the 96-99s, but
they're not as good looking as the 92-95s.
