So, why don't you just download gabber, or another jabber client
(jabber.org/jabber.com)?  I run gabber on my SS20 and my x86 machine,
mostly to talk to people on MSN (and the few people I've converted to
jabber).  (gleblanc at jabber.com, BTW)
