Ok, did not realise you had replaced the NVRAM.

Why not try a 2.6 CD?

I am uploading one for you and will send the link to a zipped iso, assumes you
can burn a CD of course!!

I use this all the time on SS5 systems without issue (normally with either
serial or TGX it has to be said)
