[SunHELP] IPv6 on last OpenSolaris release

Hello all,

I'm having a bit of difficulty configuring IPv6 on OpenSolaris (snv_134). 
This is pre-ipadm so the documentation and a lot of google isn't too 
helpful.

What I need to do: is configure this via ifconfig or similar.
(I also don't want to reboot the zone.)

root at meaghan:~# ifconfig vnic1 inet6 plumb
root at meaghan:~# ifconfig vnic1 inet6 2001:470:1f07:e53:beef:d00d::1337/64 
up
ifconfig: SIOCSLIFADDR: vnic1: Cannot assign requested address
root at meaghan:~# ifconfig vnic1 inet6 addif 
2001:470:1f07:e53:beef:d00d::1337/64 up
Created new logical interface vnic1:1

However, nothing can ping that IP and it can't get out...and I'm not able 
to configure the gateway...because the gateway isn't on the same network..

Ideas?  Tarballs of ipadm and all related libraries?
