Oh, you've got to upgrade to 10.  JDS fixes so many of the annoying 
features of their GNOME distro that I don't even want to begin to list 
them.  I wish I would have done it sooner.

Oh, and for mysterious reasons, 25 fails to patch here.  Add that to
a long list of other patches that fail.  Sun Update Manager is very 
cryptic about this, but many of the failed patches appear to be valid.

It doesn't say how it works AFAICT, but I'm assuming it is something 
like that.  Apple's Software Update is similar too AFAIK.
