The D1000 has a (High-Voltage) Differential SCSI interface, so you will
have to use an HVD SCSI card. IIRC, the X6540 is an Ultra-SCSI SE
dual-interface card, so it will not work with the D1000.

Hello,

it somebody knows if it possible to run a

Sun Fire 420R with an internal UltraSCSI adapter (Sun Model : x6540a)
together with a Sun StorEgde D1000.

According to the manual of the D1000 only the UltraSCSI adapter (Sun
Model : x6541a) are supportet.
