The first part was expected, for the second part you have to enable x11... same
commands "svcs -a", perhaps grep the output to display disabled ones, then
"svcadm enable ...".

No problem with the HW, and for X11 it depends on what was specified on the
installation, it may require to install a "headless" driver (I've only done this
with Sol-9, don't know if it's the same for Sol-10).
