It's been a while for me, so I may be mis-remembering.

The one I got was $7 from from PBfixit.com, it's a longer thinner tool
they call a "spudger".  There are other shorter ones with a thicker
"head" that generally come with the iPod battery replacement kits, and
with some cell phone repair kits (usually they are light blue in
color).  I haven't used the latter type, but I find the spudger very
versatile, and consider it one of the best tools I've bought.

It's great for working on PDA's, laptops, etc.
