Ummm... no.  If you type 'ssh -h' you'll get a list of available 
command line
arguments.  Among them:
'  -2		Force protocol version 2.'

Pretty much everything out there uses OpenSSH (including, yes, 
Solaris), which
added support for SSH2 years ago; it also defaults to using v. 2 as 
well - if
you check /etc/ssh/sshd_config, you'll see that sshd only accepts v. 2 
connections
unless you've changed it.
