[SunHELP] not logging in desktop (CDE)

SIR,

I am running sun solaris 8 on sun ultra 300. the problem is that by
mistake i deleted the files on root by command " rm  t*.* ".
from that moment
onwards its not logging in Desktop.after entering username & password is comes
to same screen again. Also telnet is notworking. through telnet it connects
and immdediately gives "connection lost".


PLEASE HELP ME ..
