All the stuff that's been discussed lately is in the docs with
step-by-step instructions.

If you don't have the docs installed locally, go to

http://docs.sun.com

Everything to do with Solaris 8 networking will be found in the
System Administrators Guide, Volume 3 (for Solaris 8, of course).

This can be found at:

For the newbee, I would suggest reading chapters 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7
to become de-newbeeised on Solaris networking.
