Hello Administrators,

I have to back out after installing some kernel patches including 108528-26
on a Solaris 8 system.

Following steps were performed :

1) boot from cdrom
2) ufsrestore to /dev/dsk/c0t0d0s0 from the ufsdump tape of
/dev/dsk/c0t1d0s0 prior to the patch install
3) installboot bootblk
4) Modify /etc/system and /etc/vfstab to remove all DiskSuite definitions
5) fsck /dev/dsk/c0t0d0s0 healthy

Boot from the restored disk: INIT 6.  The system comes up with some install
scripts working, then crashes with a kernel panic twice, writing compressed
dumps to c0t0d0s1, reboot anf fails with 'Boot load failed.  The file just
loaded does not appear to be executable.'

Anyone has any ideas ?  Your suggestions are much appreicated.
