[SunHELP] HOWTO compress and save large SunPCI-diskimage

Some results:

the original diskimage couldn't be zipped.
a dump-file of this diskimage could be zipped, but
:-(
zip stop output when after reaching the 2GB-limit.

gzip (Sol8) didn't start compression with an error.
The gzip 1.3.5 from Sunfreeware should work.

During testing I saw in man-pages gzip following:

User Commands                                             GZIP(1)

     compression than the default compression level (-6). On some
     highly redundant  files,  compress  compresses  better  than
     gzip.

I'm thinking using "cat winxp.diskimage | compress > winxp.dmg.Z"
will be my favorite solution.
