[SunHELP] cpio and dd > 2GB

It may be a filesystem-enforced file limitation.  VxFS, for example, unless
largefile support is enabled, will limit individual files to 2GB.

The first thing that comes to mind is largefiles, but cpio is large file
aware upto 8GB-1. Can you paste the full error messages and commands you
are using?
