I'm using the "useradd" to add a user (obviously). So
i typed the following at the command line:
useradd -g 3 -u 100 -s /bin/bash test
The user gets created but it has no home directory
which is supposed to be assigned by default to
/home/test, but when i go to /home there is no
directory by the name of the user although when
looking at the /etc/passwd file it shows that it is
there. When i try to log in the remote window just
hangs. Anyone have any ideas with whats going on?
(sorry about the dumb questions)
