[SunHELP] saving sytem state!!

I have a sun enterprise 150 and i recently installed
solaris 9.  after keeping it on, sometimes it displays
this message saying "Saving System State Please Wait"
and stays that way. so far i've waited 2 hours for
that to go away, also i can't do anything while that
is displayed.  can someone please tell what is going
on?
