Hello there.
I would like to ask for your help, if you don't mind.
Well, I have an Ultra2. I put a QFE card in it and then installed
Solaris 8 1/001
This is what I see from prtdiag -v
System clock frequency: 99 MHz
Memory size: 1024 Megabytes

But when I try to set up the card as per maunal, i.e., grep qfe
/etc/path_to_inst
I get nothing,.
Now, when I do a grep hme /etc/path_to_inst I get the following:
"/sbus at 1f,0/SUNW,hme at e,8c00000" 0 "hme"
"/sbus at 1f,0/SUNW,hme at 3,8c30000" 4 "hme"
"/sbus at 1f,0/SUNW,hme at 3,8c20000" 3 "hme"
"/sbus at 1f,0/SUNW,hme at 3,8c10000" 2 "hme"
"/sbus at 1f,0/SUNW,hme at 3,8c00000" 1 "hme"
So, what I would like to know, is why this machine will not let me set
up QFE.
I hope you can help me out.
Thanks in advance.
David
