[SunHELP] OBP test-all repeats "bus error" over and over

I would lay odds that is a HVD device.  to find out, open the case and get 
the part # off the drive, then check the manufacturer's website (drive 
manu, not zzyzx.  I'd almost bet that the onboard scsi is now damaged.

  also, did they power the machine down before attaching the tape drive?
