SUNW,soc (also known as "SOC" cards, not to be confused with "SOC+" or
SOCAL cards) are one of the first fibre channle adaptors Sun made. These
ran at 25MB/s and were intended for use with the old Sun SPARC Storage
Arrays.
fcaw cards are different. These are 100MB/s fibre channle cards made by
JNI, and are mainly intended for use with EMC disk arrays.
