[SunHELP] Terminal Server Sun Query

Srinivas,

I also use the Lantronix terminal servers to access the serial console of =
remote systems. Whenever I have received the "connection refused" message, =
there is already an existing connection to that port on the terminal =
server. An example to verify and terminate the existing connection on port =
2006:

#  telnet 147.178.17.205
Trying 147.178.17.205...
Connected to 147.178.17.205.
Escape character is '^]'.

Hi All
  Sorry that am posting a terminal server query here,hoping by chance if =
some one may lead me to the correct place/solution.
  Iam a new bie to Terminal Server
  We have an Lantronix ETS8P terminal server/Console server to which I =
have got to connect the Sun systems,for us to enable & access the Sun =
System's Console.
  I have connected the Sun machine's serial interface to the Lantronix =
terminal server,configured the Terminal server with an IPaddress,also =
configured the port with the following parameters:
  port speed 9600
  port stop 1
  port char 8
  port flow xon
  port access remote
  Now when I try to access the port of the terminal server to which the =
Sun machine is connected it gives me the follwoing error...telnet =
10.150.50.25 2001 ..gives.."unable to connect to remote host,connection =
refused".
  Do I have to set something on the Sun box?
  Alternatively if I try connecting locally thro' the terminal server I =
get "Port_1 not accessible"
  Can someone please help me out or direct me to the URL where I can find =
the same.
